As a member of the Theta Alpha chapter, I first had the opportunity to service as the Academic Development Chair and then as Collegiate Chapter President. Over two years, I served on the Standards committee, led meetings and rituals, represented chapter interests to the University and Tri Delta nationally and managed the finances and safety of 100+ college women under one roof.

In April of 2017, I traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby on behalf to the Fraternal Government Relations Coalition's (FGRC) legislative priorities. Through this opportunity, I was able to talk with Congressional staff and meet my Senator, Maria Cantwell. This provided incredible exposure to government operations and politics. Prior to this, we were also trained by lobbyists and did research on the issues that most impacted our schools and experiences. I was also able to see our country's capital for the first time with this trip and take in the history and culture it has to offer.
